“You didn’t spank me,” she mumbled softly.

“I can fix that,” I said with a laugh and swatted her ass just hard enough to sting, but not enough to bruise. Her pussy clenched around my cock and her hips rocked forward when she tensed and I realized the mistake I had made.

I groaned, “Fuck baby, that was a bad idea.”

Raven only laughed and I let my mouth work its way down her exposed neck. Her hips rocked slightly, giving me even more of a reason to skip dinner and stay right here.

“If you keep this up, then I’m locking you in here.No more girl time.”

Her body froze, and she straightened, pushing herself up to look at me.“You wouldn’t.”

“Oh, I would.”

“Well then, we should probably get cleaned up.Because I have the rest of my life to fuck you and only like twelve hours left with my bestie,” she said with a wink.

“Fine, but when we get to New York, I’m tying you to our bed and keeping you there until I’m fully satisfied with everything I need from you.”

She leaned forward and placed a gentle kiss on my lips.“But sir, you are never satisfied.”

“Exactly.”

The Engagement

Raven

Iwokeupalone, which panicked me at first. After spending the night with Leo and Talia, I was growing concerned not only for them but for Beckett as well.Miles knew who he was.He knew Leo worked for him and I wouldn’t put it past him to have connected the dots between Talia and me by now.The more she told me, the more I realized how dangerous a man he was. There are people who make calculated decisions to do terrible things, and then there are people like Miles Carter who are borderline insane, which makes them unpredictable.I sat up and reached for my phone to check the time, but it wasn’t there. In its place was a letter in Beckett’s handwriting.

Good Morning Baby Girl,

I’ve left something for you to snack on when you get up.

Relax this morning, enjoy a bath if you wish, and then meet

me in the gardens.

I love you,

Beckett

I smiled and reached for a strawberry that was on the plate next to the note. There was even a cup of coffee in a travel mug, still warm and just waiting for me to drink it.I pushed myself out of bed and made my way into the bathroom with my coffee in hand.As much as I wanted to kick back and relax, I needed to get ready to say goodbye to Talia.

About an hour later, I was fully caffeinated, showered and changed into clothes that would be comfortable enough to hang out in at the house but also fly home in.I wasn’t certain what Beckett had decided.Talia and Leo’s flight out was this afternoon, but I wasn’t sure if we were heading back to New York or staying here for a while.Just in case, I packed up the things I had scattered around the room and then made my way out back.

The house had an extensive garden that in the spring likely held some amazing flowers. It was early fall and only a few trees had changed this early in the season. The air was crisp, but the sun was out and it was that perfect time of year to sleep with the windows open and air out homes that had been filled with nothing but air conditioning over the summer. As I stepped out onto the back porch, I waved to Beckett. There was a small table set up in the middle of everything that I hadn’t noticed yesterday.Leo and Talia were sitting with him, and when she saw me, she jumped up and came running over, nearly toppling me down with a hug.

“Oh my gosh, you are so not going to believe what is about to happen,” she whispered into my ear.

I pulled back, looking at her.“What are you talking about?”

“Shhh!I’ll get in trouble if I ruin it.Don’t ask me anything.”

Talia’s smile was contagious and I couldn’t help but laugh.“What’s gotten into you this morning?”

“Leo of course,” she said with a wink.

I shook my head and walked over to the table.I headed straight for Beckett, who had a hand out for me, and crawled into his lap, wrapping my arms around his neck.Talia was family and Leo had known Beckett nearly his whole life.If they had a problem with a little PDA, they could stuff it, because I needed him to hold me after waking up without him.

“I was nervous when you weren’t in our room,” I said quietly as he brushed a strand of hair from my face.
