Amelia took a step toward him, then another, and another until she stood right in front of him.

She could reject him. Turn her back on him and tell him to fuck off. To leave her alone, but that would be a total lie. She didn’t want him to leave.

There was strength in forgiveness.

Besides, Wolfe had admitted he’d beenafraid. Not just to her, but to the whole pack. She wasn’t a cruel person.

“Amelia?” he asked.

This was it.

If she wanted to get her revenge, this was the time to do it. To slap his face and humiliate him in front of the whole pack.

“I love you somuch,” she said. “Please, don’t hurt me like that again.”

Then she pressed her lips against his.

Wolfe cupped her cheek and pulled her back. “What?”

“Yes, yes, I’ll mate you, I’ll be with you. Just don’t … do that again.”

“You forgive me?” he asked.

She nodded. “I forgive you.” She spoke the words aloud for him, and he growled, pulling her against him and holding her close.

The kiss went from gentle to heated within seconds. His hands held her close.

In front of the whole pack, he allowed them all to see how he lost control with her. Amelia wrapped her arms around him and laughed as he did so.

Val and Alpha were the ones to help themfind some privacy, which was around the back of the bar.

Wolfe stroked her cheek. “You’re mine.”

“I’m yours, and you’re mine.”

“I ain’t ever letting you go, Amelia. Never.”

“I know.” She took his hand, tilted it up, and pressed a kiss to his palm. “You spoke your heart and soul out in front of the pack. That couldn’t have been easy.”

“For you, to make it up to you, I’ll do anything,” he said.

“All I need is for you tolove me, Wolfe, that’s it. Love me, because I love you, with all of my heart.”

Wolfe gripped the back of her neck and pulled her in close.

This was right.

Her wolf was happy.

And Amelia was so freaking happy as well. She didn’t want to hate him, couldn’t hate him. Some said there was a fine line between love and hate, but for her, there was just love for this man.

Epilogue

“I’m so not going to ride that thing,” Amelia said.

Wolfe climbed onto his bike and looked at his mate, at his old lady, his soul mate, his reason for fucking breathing, and smirked. “Yeah, you are.”

She gasped, folding her arms underneath her breasts inmock shock. “Really? And what makes you think I am?”
