“Then I’d like to tip her,” he quickly amended. “Please.”
“Aren’t you sweet?” she preened. “Wait here. I’ll go get her.”
He watched as she walked away and wondered how long it would take for Savannah to come out here. Would his cousin have to persuade her? Would she resist? Would she…?
“Here we are,” Parker said as she breezed back out with Savannah right behind her. Now with proper lighting, he noticed how her caramel-colored hair was back in a messy bun and she had on very little makeup, but she still looked amazing.
And she was smiling shyly.
Which filled him with relief.
“I was telling Savannah how you’d been a little reluctant to get the massage, but she must have made an impact because you wanted to meet her and tip her,” Parker said, looking pretty pleased with herself. Then she faced him. “Jackson, this is Savannah James, my newest employee.”
“Jackson?” she murmured, her brows furrowing.
“And Savannah, this is my cousin, Jackson Coleman. He’s…”
