“Great, then it’s settled,” I say, speaking for the first time since they arrived. “Bronywyn and I will retire, while the two of you continue the badassery.”

“Shit, Shay, I completely forgot you were here!”

Bronywyn smiles widely at Rainey then turns to me. “Shay is the strong but silent type.”

I groan. “Fuck. I am never living this down, am I?” I push to my feet, and the three women follow.

Rainey claps a hand on my back. “Not a fucking chance.”
