“I don’t know,” I groaned, toeing off my boots. The cold concrete floor was a welcome relief. “Maybe I’m going stir crazy. I just don’t feel like myself.”

“Come on, let’s go relax, maybe I can help take your mind off of things.”

He led me over to where the pile of our sleeping bags was waiting, sitting down and dragging me down on top of him. The darkness of the corner, away from the blaring white snow that filled the windows made me feel a bit better and I let out a sigh, laying my head on his shoulder.

“You smell so good,” I groaned, rocking my hips forward and trying to get close to him.

Spencer chuckled. “Careful, sweets. You keep doing that and you’re going to get to know another part of me.”

“Yes,” I said immediately. “I want to know all of you. You’re mine, right?”

“You know I am, Ollie,” he said softly, his hands tightening on my hips and holding me against him. “Any part of me you want is yours.”

Oh, I definitely liked that. For Hollow’s sake, I wanted him.

I’d been with alphas before, more out of necessity than anything else, but that had been more like a transaction.

This, what it felt like with him, was the same feeling that I got every time I thought of Lindsay. A warm, wonky feeling that reduced me to a needy omega who just wanted to smother them.

“I want it all,” I groaned, giving into my wants and rocking against him again.

A groan fell from my alpha’s lips. “You’re going to ruin me, aren’t you, little omega?”

“I’m not little,” I argued, pressing down harder into his thickening length beneath me. “It’s not my fault you’re…big.”

Spencer nipped my neck teasingly, his nose burrowing in my neck as he took a long inhale and froze.

“Fuck. Ollie, baby,” he said, his arms around me tightening. “I think you’re about to go into heat.”

His words had me doing the math in my head and my jaw dropped when I realized he was right.

Between finding him and the blizzard, the days had gotten away from me. When he saw my panic, he started to knead my shoulders, and when that didn’t help, he shifted me so I was facing him, his hands on either side of my head.

“Look, we’re going to figure this out. It’s going to be fine. If you want me to help you with your heat, I need you to tell me now while you can still give me consent.”

My heart slammed a little harder in my chest. Did I want this? That was an easy answer.

I nodded my head but he narrowed his eyes at me.

“Words, Ollie,” his voice left no room for argument. I swallowed hard and tried again.

“Yes, I want you to help me through my heat, please. I’ve... I’ve never had anyone I really wanted, but I want your knot, alpha.”

He groaned and let out a breath.

“Then I’m yours, sweets.”

His promise had another wave of want washing through me. My head dropped back and a low groan escaped my lips. My hips were moving again before I realized what I was doing, rocking against him desperately.

“I need Lindsay,” I whimpered, my hips moving faster this time. His scent was amazing, but it wasn’t enough.

I needed her just as badly. And being able to smell her iris and amber scent lingering in the air? My body wasn’t going to settle for stolen clothes anymore.

My lips pressed against his and he returned the kiss, one hand on my neck holding me in place as the other devoured my mouth. When he pulled away, I was practically panting, but he held me steady and turned his head away.

That was fine by me. I kissed and licked my way over his skin before skimming my nose over him, soaking in the alpha scent.

“Guys, I need help in here!” Spencer yelled out. His voice was strained and desperate.
