He dipped his head and kissed her neck while pushing a hand under her bottom. Squeezing her butt cheeks together, he lifted her bottom a little. It should have made things more difficult, but to her surprise, the new angle was enough to allow for a smoother glide.

When he was fully seated inside of her, they both groaned, and then he kissed her again while gently rocking in and out of her.

The god was the most considerate lover she'd ever had, and the thought brought tears to her eyes because he wasn't hers to keep.

"Frankie," he breathed her name as if it was precious to him.

The gentle rocking continued for a while longer until he was gliding in and out of her with ease, and she wanted him to start going faster.

He must have sensed the change in her, and everything about him changed between one blink of an eye and the next.

Gone was the gentle lover, replaced by a lustful beast who grunted as he pulled nearly all the way out and slammed all the way in, hitting the end of her channel.

All she could do was wrap her arms and legs around him and hold on for dear life.

The sensation of him inside of her, on top of her, all around her, was incredible. Soon, she was coiling up, readying for another explosion. When it slammed into her, she heard herself saying things she had never spoken to any other guy out loud, the f-bomb combined with harder and faster.

Dagor hissed and clamped a hand over her head, tilting it sideways. As his erection kicked inside of her, announcing his release, he licked the tender spot between her neck and shoulder and struck.

She felt his fangs slicing into her flesh, but the pain she'd expected never came. It was more like pressure with a little sting, and then something cool entered her bloodstream, and she came again.

The string of orgasms that followed rocked through her and exhausted her to the point of blacking out. Then she was soaring above the clouds and looking at the most beautiful surreal alien landscapes. Only they weren't totally alien because she remembered someone describing them to her.

It was nearly impossible to string together two coherent thoughts while soaring, and she promised herself to think about that later after she floated back to Earth.

Aru

Aru waited for Gabi to be deeply asleep before contacting his sister. It wasn't that he feared his mate could see or sense what he was doing, but she was a distraction. He needed to concentrate to open the channel and deliver the news about the heir.

It was good that Aria had developed excellent memorization skills since becoming the Supreme's scribe, so she would be able to recount everything he would tell her word for word.

The problem was the oracle's relay to the queen.

The oracle was only sometimes entirely in this world, and often she confused reality with what she saw from all over the universe and sometimes from other universes.

Most oracles as powerful as she had gone mad at a young age, but Sofringhati, the most powerful oracle ever born, had outlasted the best by many thousands of years.

Perhaps it was her sense of humor that kept her sane or her long friendship with the queen. Still, it was a miracle that she was lucid enough to keep the best-guarded secret on Anumati and beyond. Without her, the resistance wouldn't have been possible.

The queen couldn't have done it all on her own.

When he sensed Gabi was deeply asleep, Aru opened the channel to his sister. Are you available to talk?

Yes, brother of mine. It is night-time over here, and I am in bed. What news do you bring?

How did you know that I have news?

She laughed. We are twins, Aru. I can sense your excitement even when you try to appear calm.

He needed to tell her about the heir, and a long preamble wouldn't do. Finding the princess was such an unexpected miracle that no amount of hinting could make Aria guess what news he was bringing. He had to take the risk and assume that no one could eavesdrop on their mental conversation and speak plainly.

I have incredible news. The queen's son had a daughter, and she lives. The only legitimate heir to Anumati's throne was born on Earth and lived on after the bombing, and she seems to be just the type of ruler we need.

How do you know she is the daughter of Ahn?

Annani is the spitting image of our queen. They have the same face, but Annani's hair is red, and she is about a foot shorter than her grandmother. She must have inherited her diminutive size and hair color from her mother.

The Eternal King was not a large male either. In fact, he was quite short, but no one dared to say that out loud or make fun of the fact that the king and queen never addressed the public together because she was half a head taller than he was.
