“You know what it is?” I whispered.

“Kinda.” She winced. “I’ve heard about it.” She shrugged. “There are different locations of the club. But from what I understand, it’s very exclusive and, well, almost anything goes.”

“Right,” I sighed. She knew about the place. I couldn’t lie. When I saw the mail, I did my own research. The place sounded pretty amazing. Especially because I had a kink of my own that wasn’t easy to find someone to indulge in. It was why Coco and I got along. We were both a little submissive, but we were also looking for a certain kind of dominant.A daddy.

Though, I would have never expected I would want three of them.

“Anyhow.” I shook my head. “They’re going to NOLA and haven’t mentioned anything about me joining them.” Which they didn’t have to. I knew that. They weren’t mine. I had no claim to any of them, much less all three men.

“I think… I think it’s because they don’t necessarily need me,” I kept sharing, not hiding the disappointment in my voice. Coco blinked once. Then twice.

“Wait, you think, the three of them— like, together?”

“No.” I shook my head. “They’re not gay. Not that there would be anything wrong with it, but I think…” I swallowed the acidic taste in my mouth that appeared any time I thought of my guys with someone else. “I think that if they like to indulge in something where maybe they share, they might have, I don’t know, someone already.”

“Someone,” she repeated. A soft smile fell covered her face, and she squeezed my hand. “So, you do like them?”

“I never said I didn’t like them. They’re nice guys.” Some of the best men I had ever met, if I was being honest.

“You know what I mean. I know youlikelike them.”

“What’s not to like?” I shrugged. “They’re great bosses and friends.”

“But youlikelike them. More than a boss-employee relationship.”

“Of course, I do,” I huffed, blowing my bangs out of my face. I would have thought admitting what I had been keeping to myself for the last six months would be a relief, but it wasn’t. It only added to the tightening in my chest. I hated that I not only liked them but had slowly been falling in love for the six months. With each of them.

It was absolutely crazy!

It had to be lack of sex or touch that had messed my head up. How could I be in love with three men who were so different?Because they’re amazing,a voice whispered in the back of my head.

“I fell hard for them because I’m an idiot.”

“You’re not an idiot,” she admonished gently, squeezing my hand again. “You know, there is nothing wrong with wanting them. The three of them, I mean.”

“You’re crazy, too.” I shook my head. “Even if I let my mind wander and daydream about things, there is no way, you know…” My eyes widened.

She knew me.

Coco had known me for a long time.

We knew what we wanted in a partner, and it was not the norm. Not that I had ever indulged in mine. I wasn’t a blushing virgin, but I’d only had two lovers. When I had mentioned wanting certain things, they both left so quickly I was surprised they didn’t leave smoke trails on the ground below them.

One had called me sick, and the other had ignored my desires.

Coco, on the other hand, had someone in college, but he’d taken advantage of her. Turned the kink into something ugly. And when she kicked him to the curb right before graduation, I was seriously relieved. It had taken her a long time to recover. I was pretty sure Lucas Star was the first man after that whole thing who she was actually interested in. Maybe that’s why she didn’t quit?

But where she wanted one man for her, the idea of three men all for me had always been a fantasy. Sweat started to form at the back of my neck as warmth pooled between my legs. I shook the thought away. There was no way I could have the three of them all at once and still work for them. And I needed my job! I was still paying off my Abuelita’s medical bills.

“It doesn’t matter what I want.” I shrugged, and Coco gave me a weird look. “I just think it is what it is, you know?”

“Serena—”

“I just wish… I don’t know, things were different.”

“What were different?” A deep all-too-familiar voice asked behind me. My eyes widened, locked with Coco’s.

“Mr. Monroe.” Coco sat straighter, pulling her hand from mine as her eyes moved behind me. “It’s so nice to see you,” she squeaked.
