He continues to dribble, arrogantly now. “You can stay in that position all night, baby. I have an excellent view of your cleavage like this.”

“If you think that’s good, I should turn around and show you my ass.”

He ignores that as he cuts one way and then spins to drive for the basket, using his shoulder and hip to bump into me and push me out of the way. I don’t let him get any breathing room. I’m all over him, chest pressed against him, arms waving in the air, anything I can do to block his shot.

He bumps me back, getting just enough space to step back and make his shot from inside the paint when I whisper so only he can hear, “Because then you can see what you’re fucking tonight.”

He sputters out a cough, tripping over his feet and flying forward, only to catch himself before he goes down, but the ball slips out of his hand, flying nowhere near the basket. Unfortunately, Asher manages to snatch it out of the air, fight his way around Greyson, and then slam-dunk the ball.

He comes down howling and pounding his chest like a caveman. Great.

I turn back to Callan, who steadies himself, giving me a perturbed scowl.

“What?” I ask, feigning innocence.

His arm bands around me and he pulls me into him, his chest to my back. He thrusts into me, forcing me to feel every hard inch of him. “You’re going to pay for making me hard in front of Katy and my friends in these fucking shorts that hide nothing.”

“I look forward to it.” I rub my ass against him.

“Gross! I’ll never be able to unsee that,” Asher yells, covering his eyes with his forearm as if he’s been stricken.

“You’re just jealous.”

Asher grins at Callan. “Definitely. Your woman is hot. But save the naughty stuff for later. Katy’s ball!”

Callan pinches my ass and kisses my neck, whispering, “Later,” against my skin, and then we’re back at it.

Asher bounces the ball at Katy, who grabs it and then starts doing a little dance as she dribbles in place. She is so much freaking fun. Everything she does, she does with enthusiasm and guts. She gives it straight to Asher and Callan, who tease and taunt her right back.

Lenox doesn’t do much other than act as a massive wall of man and occasionally grunt. But he does smile and fist-pound Katy after Grey boosts her up and she nails a shot.

“Nice one,” he tells her.

“Thanks, Uncle Lenox.” She’s all breathless smiles when Grey sets her down. She peers at the ink on Lenox’s arms. “Will you tattoo a mermaid on my arm?”

“Noooo!” Callan comes racing over, shaking his head so fast I’m shocked he doesn’t pull a muscle. “Absolutely not.”

Lenox chuckles lightly, kneeling down so he’s Katy’s height. “I can show you how to draw a mermaid on your arm.”

She thinks about this for a moment, and her pensive expression reminds me so much of Callan’s. They look so alike sometimes that it’s startling considering she’s not his. “You’ve got a deal.”

“Hey, are we playing ball or are we having art hour,” Asher challenges.

“You only want to keep playing because you’re losing,” Grey declares, wiping the sweat from his forehead with the hem of his shirt.

“Not my fault you guys cheat,” Asher throws back at him. “You boosted Katy so she could get a basket, and you’ve got a ringer on your team.”

I throw my hands out at him. “Hey, you made the teams, and I don’t remember you saying anything about the rules.”

“Yeah, Uncle Asher,” Katy taunts, her hands on her hips, all tiny attitude. “I’m only going into first grade but I’m already a better sport than you are. What’s the matter? Can’t handle getting your butt beaten by a girl and a six-year-old?”

“Oh, snap!” I choke on a laugh, as does everyone else.

Asher runs in and snatches her up in his arms. “Ladybug, where on earth did you learn such excellent trash-talking?”

“From you.”

“Atta girl.” Asher tugs playfully on her ponytail. “You want pizza?” Before she can answer, he runs her over to Fallon and Aurelia, who along with Zax, are setting up the pizza on a large table.
