“Oh, I’m better than okay,” she murmurs, turning to look at me. “I’m… I’m fuckingfantastic,” she giggles, her face flushed.

“Well, we aim to please,” Gavin chuckles.

She kisses him again before she pulls back with a gasp and looks down between them.

“You cannotstill be hard.”

He glances at me, and we both grin. I shrug, chuckling.

“I think you’re to blame for that.”

She giggles, snuggling into both of us.

“Well, a girl could use alittlebit of a break.”

I chuckle. “I think that can be arranged.”

“So, what, five-minute breather?” Gavin teases.

She blushes, biting her lip as she feels me growing harder against her ass.

“Okay, a girl couldalsoget used tothis,” she purrs.

“We should rest,” I growl. “It’s been a long, long damn day.”

She nods, looking at me deeply.

“Let’s get you cleaned up,” Gavin murmurs.

He helps her up as I go to the shower and run the water, and then we all pile in again, cleaning off and soaping her up—very, very thoroughly. But even though Iknowwe could both go again, it really is late, and we need to fix this shit tomorrow.

Gavin and I make sure the place is secure, and re-check our guns before we crawl naked into bed with Charlotte.

I know this is insane. I know it’s stupid, but I don’t care. Neither of us do. Because we both feel it, and we both know it’s bigger than anything we’ve ever felt before.

…because she’s it for us. She’s the one. And there’s no denying that in a million damn years.

Gavin moves in behind her this time, me in front, and we hold her tight as the three of us start to fade to sleep.

Chapter Eight

Gavin

“You awake?”

I nod, even though I know Ben probably can’t see me in the dark.

“Yeah. You?”

I can hear my brother grin at my joke.

“Can’t sleep.”

“So I gathered,” I growl. “Same.”

I glance down at the angel in my arms, sleeping so soundly between us, and my heart beats a little faster. My cock thickens and throbs against that tight, curvy ass pressed so hotly against it, and I think about waking her up, but she’s had a very, very long twenty-four hours. Hell, we all have.

And I know that’s the reason I’m not sleeping. Charlotte, I mean, not the danger or the stress of the current situation. Hell, Ben and I have been dealing with conflict and danger our whole lives, and as intense as this is, it’s not even close to the worst shit we’ve gotten ourselves into. No, I’m awake because this time, for the very first time, there’s another element to the danger.
