“We’ve got a presidential suite for a couple of nights, reservations in the restaurant, and tickets to the Oilers game tonight,” Eli chimes in and grins at my shocked face.
“I haven’t been to a game in years.” I wouldn’t say I’m a huge hockey fan, but I’ve enjoyed attending games in the past, and our starting lineup over the last few years has been phenomenal.
“That a yes?” Callan wonders.
“Duh!” I lean on his shoulder while gripping Eli’s thigh as we drive away from my parents’ place. What was a terrible few days has now turned into something magical. “You guys are really in this, aren’t you?” My tone softens as we stop for traffic travelling into the city.
“Yeah, we’re in this.” Callan traces a finger along my jaw as I stare up at him. “We know it’s fast, but we think it’ll be worth it in the end, too.”
“We don’t have to rush,” Eli adds in as we start moving again.
“Good, because I’d like to savour what we have. Go through the motions of getting to know each other and not being pressured to feel more than we do in the moment.” That sounds so damn sappy.
“Would it be too soon to ask you to fly home with us for New Year's, then?” Eli asks with a grin, going for playfulness, but I think he might be serious.
“Let’s get through Christmas first.” For weeks, I’ve been dreading the holiday. Spending it alone like usual, and now, I’m with two men who seem to want nothing but the best for me and continue to show me who they are throughout our entire evening.
“Yes!” I scream at the top of my lungs as Kane slams the puck into the top corner of the net, with an assist from Hyman with ten seconds left to go. The arena is so loud the floor shakes beneath my feet.
Eli and Callan cheer just as loud as I am for the Oilers. They’re on a winning streak, and this will be their twelfth win in a row. I’ve never been superstitious or paid close attention to the stats before, but I’m down with this one. I love seeing this for the team. They’re always the underdogs when it comes to the Stanley Cup, but they have the biggest NHL fanbase in the world and the best fans.
The whole arena counts down the seconds until the buzzer sounds, and the energy is electric. My heart pounds, and I’m out of breath as I jump into Eli’s arms and kiss him savagely, tangling our tongues, dragging my fingers through his hair, and tugging until I can’t breathe. I turn to Callan and offer the same, biting his lip and sucking until he groans.
“That was amazing!” I shriek amidst the rowdy crowd.
“You are.” Callan’s tender words warm me from the inside out.
“Ready to go?” Eli queries, and I nod as fans begin leaving while some linger a little longer.
As we head outside, needing the fresh air before returning to the hotel, fans are still cheering, horns are honking, and you’d never know it was nearly eleven at night on Christmas Eve because, on these streets, it’s all about the Oilers winning.
My body buzzes as we walk towards the lights to cross. I keep one of my men's hands in each of mine, not wanting anyone to get the idea that either is available. I’m finding myself to be a little more possessive than I thought was possible.
Snow begins falling in heavy flakes as the signal turns green, and we can finally cross. The lights of downtown twinkle, carols are being sung from the steps of City Hall, and I want to do something a little daring and completely at odds with what I said as we left my parents’ house this afternoon.
In front of the JW Hotel is a gigantic Christmas tree, and I stop in front of it, turning to smile at my men. When Eli raises a brow in question, I say, “I love you. I don’t know how or why; I just know that you make me happier than anyone I’ve known. I feel safe when I’m with you, even though I said we should take things slow, and I still kind of believe that, but I couldn’t go another second without telling you the truth.”
They don’t respond at first, sharing one of their covert looks before matching grins stretch across their faces, and my heart sings as they step closer and pull me into their bodies.
“Knew you were it for us the minute I laid eyes on you.” Eli sweeps my hair away from my neck, laying a kiss there, making me shiver.
“I was reticent at first, but then you mouthed off to me, and you owned my heart, Gray. Didn’t think it’d ever happen theway we’d hoped, but you, sweetheart, were worth all the years of waiting.” Callan’s sweet confession brings me to tears.
“None of that was an ‘I love you’.” I have to tease them so I can get myself under control.
Callan growls, and the next thing I know, I’m over his shoulder with a swat on my ass as he carries me into the hotel and up to our room, not once stopping to put me down or saying anything to Eli.
I hear the deadbolt engage on our door before I’m tossed over and land on the single bed in our room. Eli is half-naked and licking his lips, clearly ready to pounce. Callan, on the other hand, looks ready to snap anything that gets in his way as he pulls off his clothes.
“Strip,” he barks. “Now,” he adds when I don’t move quickly enough.
Before I can remove my jersey, he’s attacking my shoes and then pants. “Love is subjective,” he speaks with a pronounced growl. “Actions, words, gifts. It can come in any form.” I nod my agreeance. “I think we’re past any of those. Let me show you.” The heat in his eyes nearly melts my panties off my body as my pussy leaks, ready for their entrance.
As soon as I’m naked, I crawl to my knees and pull him closer as Eli watches next to us. “Show me, Callan,” I demand as he kneels on the bed in front of me. His heated, calloused hands grip my hips securely as he pulls me closer. Clasping him around the neck, I drag his lips down to mine. “Show me.”
As our mouths mesh, we topple backwards, and before I have a chance to prepare, he slams inside my body, and I cry into his mouth from the invasion. I’m still not used to either of their sizes.
“You’re ours, sugar. There’s no going back now.” I clench all around his length at his possessive words as he tunnels in and out slow and deep. “Fuck, this pussy is so good.”
