His mouth found my neck, licking and sucking where he wanted to claim me as I rocked against him. He was hard as steel and groaned along with me as I fucked myself over him, sliding my wet folds over his shaft.

His caramel-latte scent was everywhere, filling my lungs and marking my body, growing more potent with each teasing stroke.

“Kiss me,” I begged as lightning shot up my spine, pleasure coiling in my stomach and threatening to burst free. “Now.”

“Yes, ma’am,” he teased before slamming his mouth to mine. His plush lips were soft and pliable as he let me lead the kiss this time. I nipped at his bottom lip before sliding my tongue into his mouth, warring with his as we lost ourselves to the moment.

I picked up my pace, grinding furiously against him until my body tightened and my release took hold. I let the orgasm wash over me as I cried out against his mouth. Warm jets of his cum shot between us as he came with me. His knot was swollen and I could already imagine how fucking good he’d feel inside of me. Somehow, someway, I’d find a way to take it.

For now, though, this was perfect.

Adam helped me back to my feet and grinned down at me. The easy smile on his face and darkness of lust in his eyes had my chest tightening.

How had I not seen all along just how much these men wanted me? How much they loved me and held back until now?

My stomach rumbled then, ruining the moment.

We both let out a soft laugh and finished the shower so we could dry off and go to dinner or whatever else he had planned.

It was a strange, but perfect, first date. The entire night just showed how much Adam cared. He wanted to protect me.

Even if he was protecting mefrommyself.

The spiraling thoughts had always been an issue and now he was giving me an outlet, one I found that I loved.

“So, what’s next?” I asked as I dressed in the clothes he’d left for me.

“I feed you,” he said with a smile.

“That’s such an alpha thing to say,” I said, teasing him. “Just don’t expect me to eat from your hand or anything weird like that.”

“You did during the heat-fog,” Adam countered with a smirk, holding his hands up before I could land one of those hits I’d practiced. “Okay, okay, we’ll compromise.”

“What did you have in mind?

“You sit with me while we eat,” he said. “I’m not ready to let you go just yet.”

There was a hint of vulnerability in his voice that had me agreeing. Smiling as he pulled out a blanket and an insulated bag. Lowering himself down, he gathered me into his lap, taking his time pulling out the various containers and offering me both a water and a familiar beer.

“Leander?” I questioned.

“And Dustin,” Adam said quietly, resting his head on my shoulder. “I know I–”

I turned toward him then, still situated between his outstretched legs. Adam was always the steadfast one, so confident and so sure. His pause definitely wasn’t like him.

“What is it?”

He shook his head. “I know I don’t always offer the words that Dustin does or the comfort that Ollie does, but I hope that my actions, even if we don’t always see eye to eye, show you how much I care.”

I reached for him then, cupping his face. “I know that you love me, Adam. Even if you are a hard-headed alpha sometimes. You may all be triplets, but you’re each individual people who bring different things to the table.”

“I more than love you, firefly. I’minlove with you. I would do anything for you.”

“I know you would, Adam. You mean the world to me, too. And for the record, I wouldn’t change a thing about you.”

And somehow, knowing that he had insecurities, too, made it easier to look forward to the future.
