"I won't be around on the weekend, but I'll be back Sunday night."

She raised her head. "Will you come see me on Sunday then?"

"Ja."

She never questioned where he'd be or what he'd be doing. It was normal for bikers to come and go without any reason. She learned long ago it was better not to know but concentrate on when they'd come back.

It was no different with Elling. He had his club, and he had his life with her. They'd make it work.

"You really rented a house with plans of asking me to move in?" she asked.

"I want a life with you." He tilted her chin with his finger and caressed her bottom lip with his thumb. "There won't be a problem with you not living at the hotel while you work?"

"No. Not at all." She smiled, happiness filling her, and then quickly fleeing. "But, not yet. Not until everything is sorted and I figure out what we need to do to have a relationship that isn't a secret."

His gaze softened. "Soon."

"Give me time."

He kissed her possessively. "Soon."

She snuggled against his chest. He was stubborn and impatient. And she loved him.
