"How's the sale going?" Pat asked Izzy.
They were sitting in Pat's living room drinking sodas and talking. Aside from his apartment in D.C. he had a house in Fayetteville, close to Fort Bragg where he’d served for so many years. Viper had driven them there on his motorcycle, much to his boss's disapproval.
"It was my idea," Izzy had said, when they'd walked in carrying helmets.
Viper had shaken Pat's hand, ignoring the scowl.
Izzy smiled. "It’s going well. I spoke to Gert Henderson from GHMG Holdings yesterday and he's meeting with me tomorrow to finalize the details. In a few more days, Omega Enterprises will be under new management."
"That's great news."
"Yeah, and Gert has agreed to keep it operating as normal until they expand production. That means they'll keep on the local employees as well as Hernández’s security company, who've done such a great job protecting the mine."
